About this Campaign

The Safe Boating Campaign is led by the National Safe Boating Council, with support from boating safety advocates around the world. It is produced under a grant from the Sports Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund, administered by the U.S. Coast Guard. In addition to encouraging boaters to always wear a life jacket, the campaign reminds boaters of making responsible boating decisions a daily habit, such as never boating under the influence, using an engine cut-off device, knowing navigational rules, and more.
