We do not provide a driver.
No Experience? Our short training videos will help you pass our Boater Safety Quiz.
Additionally, a brief orientation will be given by a member of our staff on the boat.
We help first-time boaters to understand the basics of pontoon boat driving and lake hazards.
Fuel is not included, but you only pay for the fuel used. Fuel charges can vary. Most are from $10 to $25.
You start with a full tank. Upon return, we’ll top-off the tank, and let you know how much you owe.
You pay at the Gas House before you leave.
Check in at the main marina building.
Free parking is on our lot, close to the departure area. Ridesharing and Carpooling are encouraged.
Renter of boat needs to provide valid Driver’s License, credit card and have viewed the training videos and passed the Safety Quiz
We provide youth and adult life vests (PFDs) equal to your boat’s max capacity.
State Law requires passengers 12 years old and under to wear a life jacket anytime the boat is in motion.
Passengers 13+ must have a life jacket on the boat.
We strongly encourage anyone in the water to have a life jacket with them.
You must supply your own PFDs for infants and children less than 50 lbs. You know what fits them properly and will be comfortable for them.
There is a maximum weight. The general guideline is 145 pounds per person.
Each boat has a legal max capacity (by both count and weight). This includes babies, young children, teens and adults.
A face is a face no matter how small.
Boat capacity for each boat is shown in the booking process. Remember you are booking a specific boat with a specific capacity.
If DNR or Law Enforcement stop your pontoon and find it over max capacity, you’ll be issued a ticket and fined.
Return to the departure dock area or the Courtesy dock (Wolfies) at anytime during your rental period.
Pick up & drop off guests as long as the total number of passengers does not exceed max capacity when you leave the dock.
There are picnic areas along the Marina waterfront grounds.
A full restroom facility is accessible from the Gas Dock or Courtesy Dock (between our Launch Ramp and Wolfies).
An outside shower is available to rinse off.
Swimming and floating in the lake is expected! Boarding ladders from the water are on each boat.
Our rental pontoons are NOT speedboats.
They are equipped for a fun, relaxing day out on the water with family and friends - cruising around the lake and finding the perfect cove to anchor and enjoy the sunshine.
The back half of every boat has a Bimini cover to offer shade.
Tying up to other boats is not allowed.
You must bring your own equipment and bait. Our boat needs to be returned in the condition it went out.
Anyone 18+ needs a State Fishing License from DNR’s website.
Bait is not available at the Marina. Circle K at 96th & Olio Road sells nightcrawlers.
Bluetooth speakers are no longer provided, but you are welcome to bring your own speakers.
Boat radios may not work.
The lake is surrounded by houses and shared with many other boaters. Be courteous.
Please be respectful with your volume.
We appreciate that dogs are like members of the family, but we no longer allow them on our rentals.
Our Gas House has a variety of snacks, ice cream and non-alcoholic beverages for sale.
There are restaurants on-site. Choose to dine-in or call for dockside delivery!
You can also arrange for delivery services such as Doordash or Uber Eats to meet you at the Gas Dock slip area
Ice can be purchased at the gas house. Coolers are not provided.
If you bring alcoholic beverages, please know, the same rules apply for the driver of a boat as that of a car.
Grilling is not allowed.
